Santorum Blames Crisis in Catholic Church on Boston Liberals

"It is startling that those in the media and academia appear most disturbed by this aberrant behavior, since they have zealously promoted moral relativism by sanctioning "private" moral matters such as alternative lifestyles. Priests, like all of us, are affected by culture. When the culture is sick, every element in it becomes infected. While it is no excuse for this scandal, it is no surprise that Boston, a seat of academic, political and cultural liberalism in America, lies at the center of the storm."

It seems to me that people who are put in a postion and trust and guidance are human beings also, while the priests in the catholic church have lost the trust of the people who they so adimently preach, honesty and morality to each other, have let their fllowers in the catholic religion by the wayside.
It must be the way of the country today, because in another sense it is the same thing that our leaders and government are doing through lies to us and greed, but in this case it is final,it is death. T.A.
